The craft
Most boot problems aren't boot problems — they're fit problems. Founded by Buck Brown after twenty-plus years of biomechanical research, Olympic Bootworks approaches every fitting as a diagnosis: your feet, your stance, your skiing, and only then the hardware.
That's why our work doesn't stop when you walk out the door. Ski the boots, tell us what you feel, and we'll keep refining the shell, liner, and footbeds until the boot disappears and the skiing is all that's left.

How it works
Email Buck with your location, dates, and what you ski. We fit by appointment at both Tahoe shops.
In the shop we assess your biomechanics, select the right shell and liner, and build your custom footbeds.
Ski the boots, then come back for punches, grinds, and adjustments. The fit isn't done until you're skiing your best.
Proprietary technology
Developed by Buck Brown over twenty years of biomechanical research, Heel-Loc technology represents a personalized orthotic approach for performance athletes and everyday comfort seekers.
Unlike standard insoles, Heel-Loc orthotics are crafted using our proprietary unweighted casting method that captures the foot in an unweighted position. The goal is a supportive foundation for alignment, comfort, and efficient movement.
